I agree with you srflip.
I’m just wondering that the so called two-way satellite could offer up to 4 Gb bandwidth (according to the japanese who made it), yet Mena telecom still talks about “Highspeed” “4Mb” which is extremely disappointing

Was Muna Najm part of the corruption?
What happened to the previous Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Jordan, Muna Najm, she disappeared out of a sudden and mysteriously just before these issues. She was the one who sold the license to Umniah for very cheap price of 4 millions only. In other contries most licneses cost hundred of millions, there was no obvious reason for this cheap sale and for allowing a fourth operator in such a small country where the parlimant said that there was no need for umniah in the jordanian market, but still Muna Najm allowed Michael Dagher to win the license

The situation here in Bahrain is pitiful . Batelco officials think by cutting 50% on business and educational inet broadband packages that they have done a major favor for their customers ! Wake up and smell the coffee people! In Saudia Arabia Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has announced 7.2Mb packages for 35BD while in Hon Kong a company called HKBN has announced 1Gbps unlimited with no thresholds for hardly 80BD!!!! Where is Batelco from that? ??? Bahrain is a small and a rich country, it is unfair and unjust to charge its people 60BD for 2Mb while in other countries they charge their people 80BD for 1000Mb…Batelco doesn’t even give 0.3% of what HKBN gives . I am honestly hurt and offended by that fact, and I wish Batelco officials and managers take that into consideration and stop those blood-sucking-high-priced packages and give us more reasonable offers like the rest
of the world.

It all comes down to cost !! if u charge for wimax a 100 bd more.. it wont be used by common ppl
