I’ve heard from a very high source that July 12th is d-day for Batelco, and could be the reason for their frantic activity in trying to introduce both the BD10 and more recently BD5 packages… the word is that the Bahrain Internet Exchange might on that day have a major say in broadband wholesale pricing, and might even control them in order to allow real competition through.
Can anyone confirm this? This is major news if I have understood it properly.
