Thanks Angella! If only we did have a tool like this that would tell us how much we used, rather than jump through hoops to watch and find out how much we actually used… of course, it’s infinitely better if we didn’t have to worry about silly things like thresholds which the whole world is leaving behind as a legacy of the start of the internet!

I’ve just created a Flickr BoycottBatelco Group and would like you to join it if you would.
It’s there as a collection point of logos and buttons that people have been sending me. Now we have a place to display the wonderful works of art with a message, all in one place!
Please join the group and contribute your creations there so that people can view your work, demonstrate their support for this campaign and use the art in their websites.
Thank you all who have contributed so far, and we need more!

Anwar Al-Awadhi did a good A4 landscape page which you might want to print and stick to your car’s back wind-shield to show your support and to spread the word. We need to keep the pressure up!
PLEASE however give the position you wish to stick this small banner some thought, you do NOT want to block your rear-view vision nor get this banner to cause you an accident. If in doubt, don’t put it on your back wind-shield but one of your rear passenger window? We’ll leave the actual positioning to you, but obviously the more visible it is the better.
note: by downloading and using this banner in any way, shape or form, you have agreed not to hold us responsible for any accidents - God forbid - it might cause. Please drive safely.

Anwar Al-Awadhi created a good letter in pdf format detailing our objections to Batelco’s announced ADSL limited packages. If you wish, please download, read the letter and if you agree with its content we would appreciate if you would sign and date it and fax it to the TRA on +973-1753 2523.
We would appreciate it if you would copy me with your letter as well, so we can keep them on record. This is completely voluntary of course and you don’t have to copy us unless you yourself wish to. My fax number is +973-1721 4616.
You are more than welcome of course to use it as a template to write your own.
We would like to thank Anwar again for his dedication and support.

Someone posted a link to this rap song in one of the comments here about three days ago, and for the life of me I cannot find it! Thanks to friends however, I got forwarded a link to it. I have uploaded it here for your enjoyment. However, please be aware that the site, its webmasters, organisers, and spokespeople do not condone this song and is represented here as purely for public awareness purposes only. This demonstrates the depth of frustrations with which people in Bahrain view Batelco generally, and have taken issue with the recently introduced internet packages in particular.
Some terms used in the song might be objectionable, and might not be suitable for minors.
With all of that out of the way, enjoy!
