You should all be ashamed of yourselves. This is a national company and should be supported. I am pretty sure the company did not force any of u - shamefull people with alot of time in ur hand doing absolutely nothing - to abuse its services and then claim that the best way of punishing the company is by not paying it for the service and creating a wasteless ‘I hate Batelco’ website. Bahraini citizens work in this company they benefit from it and support their families from it. This is dirty competition, shame on all of you people.

So what? do I have to suffer and limit my resources just because some bahraini citizens work there?
I am actually ashamed to live in a shithole where people like you live next door.
I am ashamed of all the monopolization and corruption that everyone is so afraid to speak their mind about!
I am ashamed of how the world portrays us, which is nothing but uneducated savages…
Whatever, am not wasting my time on the likes of you :\

Bahraini, care to explain to me how a “National” company is happily robbing it’s mother country’s people?
Batelco has branches in other countries - we pay about 2x the amount to get internet connectivity, those other countries don’t have to put up with thresholds / limited usage either.
“Bahraini citizens work in this company”
Bahraini people DO work in Batelco but do they have ANY authority over the higher-ups?
NO.
Your typical Bahraini family can BARELY afford to have internet, Batelco’s 15 B.D/ 10 B.D Package?
Nah, It’s SLOW and it has a THRESHOLD, Batelco’s thresholds are nowhere near fair.
“they benefit from it and support their families from it.”
OF COURSE They benefit from it!
Thats the WHOLE point of getting a JOB, they HAVE to pay thier employees, unless they have some sort of mind controlling device =P.
“This is dirty competition, shame on all of you people.”
Not at all, it’s about time Batelco gets some.
If no one says anything about this then in the end you’l see a day where Batelco will limit your international calls AND local calls.
Can’t be far from happening now, eh?

Oh, and May I add that the higher-ups at Batelco don’t even have a Vague idea of internet usage?
Thier paychecks are big to the point where 100 B.D is like 100 Fils, they won’t feel the pain.
Then again, I doubt they even utilize the internet for anything good.

any self respecting company or any service provider is respected based on its support and respect to their customers.. to have their loyality to the company.. look what batelco is doing to its loyal customers.. i have 2 speednet accounts .. 3 mobile lines in my house hold .. and no internet sharing at all… why should i suffer .. i’ve been loyal for more than 10 years .. is that how we repay our customers.. any one who studied business can help us in our debate, infact .. any one with common sense and logic.. would be with his customers.. and provide them with better service.. go to any small coldstore.. and buy from him daily and see how he treats you .. BAT-ELCO LEARN from him.

and what is that thing about batelco .. hiring bahraini people .. is that supposed to be a favor to them? .. why are we always greatful for our land lords.. this is the ideology of slaves.. they work there because they are qualified and they make the company stand .. and not the opposite..

Bahraini! We are actually fighting corruption in this country and particularily in the old-fashioned corrupted Batelco. Can’t you see how they are losing their cutomers rapidly to other competitors?? Batelco’s share price has lost ~ 50% in the stock market, obviously not because of us but because of the top management running Batelco. We are actually helping this company to see its problems and manage them before they turn out unmanageable. Bahrainis in Batelco might lose their jobs if Batelco continues its bad management policies. You should stand against these bad management policies if you want this company to remain healthy.

Bahraini has as much right as any of us to speak his mind. We don’t have to agree with him of course and the responses show that most don’t, but let us all get back to the question posed by this post and that is I need volunteers to help in various things for this site.
Anyone interested?

I would like to draw to your attention that Batelco changed the internet billing cycle and they claimed it unified with the fixed line billing cycle but they have charged more especially if your billing cycle is not at the begining of the month. Di you know that you can argue and sue Batelco, because the internet billing cycle never been mentioned in any of their invoices.I have talked to them and they have admitted that it is shown in their systems only but never mentioned in their invoices!!
